Beijing China Weather - The best time to visit Beijing is during the fall season from mid-September to October. During these months, you will have missed the summer heat. If you want to avoid the rain, visit during the fall months because the springtime brings more rain and humidity. If you can't plan your visit Beijing during these times, the next best time to enjoy the city is during the spring, which can be taken advantage from mid-April to May. When you wander about the city in April, you will find that the weather can be quite sunny. May temperatures bring a very comfortable atmosphere. Be prepared to encounter rain during any time of the year.

During the summer, tourists flock to the city, making it the peak season. This is when the Beijing Hotels become very crowded. You should book well in advance if you plan on traveling to the city during the summer- sometime months ahead of time. During the summer months, the weather is so hot, you may feel like you are melting. Expect temperatures to reach as high as 88 degrees during June and July, with a low of 70 degrees. During the winter months, the weather is bitterly cold and travel can be a real nuisance around Beijing. Temperatures in January have a high of 34 degrees, with a low of 14 degrees. Picking a time to visit the city is also important. If you think you’re going to have a good time visiting the city around Chinese New Year, keep in mind that much of China shuts down and finding a way into and out of the area can be impossible.
